High potential and ever increasing demand for specialised equipments in the shipping services was realised & Caravel Lines has augmented the inventory with special reefer equipments.

 Reefers, or Refrigerated containers facilitate the movement of cargo that requires a strict temperature controlled environment. The Reefer containers are usually moved from the terminal to the factories; for stuffing on special trailers, on which a "clip on" generator is attached to supply power to the Reefer units. On return they are stacked at a nominated location with special facilities for plugging in the containers to uninterrupted power sources, and regular temperature monitoring.

Refrigerated containers help our customers to transport mainly perishables and high value cargoes which are temperature sensitive and need protection from climatic conditions prevailing viz heat, cold, and ventilation.  This helps the trader to overcome the barrier of distance while still maintaining the same freshness of the cargo involved.
 
We provide specialised reefer service to transport cargoes from Indian ports to other Asian Ports and vice versa.
